One of the many lovely features of Edward's Tower is the first floor bedroom which has a superb view across the gardens and swimming pool, to the valley, woods and towards the hamlet of Bourniquel. The light, bright double aspect bedroom lends an airiness that is welcome in the height of the summer, with built in storage and access to the en-suite bathroom. Chestnut beams and wood ceilings are a constant reminder of the building's heritage as one of the original farm buildings of Domaine de Leygue. The living room and kitchen capture the essence of rural France, again with a distinctive beamed ceiling, Provencal tiled floor, an impressive oak staircase to the bedroom, and French windows leading out to the private veranda. The oak kitchen has a generous set of Portmeirion Botanic Garden china, perfect for using at the antique wood dining table. Fine linen and towels are for your use, with all fresh linen supplied per week of stay. Watch the sunrise from your large private terrace, facing the Pigeonnier swimming Pool and gardens of Domaine de Leygue, or snooze in the shade of the beautiful trees and glades. Cycle the lanes with bicycles provided, canoe down the River Dordogne, or just swim, sleep and visit our mini gym here at Domaine de Leygue. Grace's Gate is a self-catering holiday gite just for adult couples, with a large, south aspect, private veranda. With its distinctive, pitched Perigordine roof, Grace's Gate is our second largest self catering holiday cottage at Domaine de Leygue. The beamed living room is furnished with twin settees and complemented by Louis-Philippe style dining furniture. From the living room is an attractive bright, ash wood kitchen complete with Villeroy Boch china, washing machine and dishwasher. A king size, dark wood colony bed, and sumptuous honey coloured silk fabrics, creates a sophisticated bedroom with built-in wardrobes providing plenty of storage space. A fresh white bathroom and shower, with heated towel rail, completes the en-suite accommodation. Grace's Gate has a 7-metre long private veranda, accessed from both the kitchen and living room, and adjoins an intimate 'courtyard' garden area enjoying extensive views across the stunning countryside and towards one of Domaine de Leygue's swimming pools, the Field Pool. The second swimming pool, Pigeonnier Pool, is a gentle wander across the gardens, embracing another vista of Domaine de Leygue's gardens. Both pools are for all cottage guests to use freely, and as there are only 4 couples in residence at any time, the chances of having a pool all to yourself is very high! WiFi is available throughout, and a bicycle is provided for exploring the beautiful Bourniquel surroundings. Grace's Gate has private adjacent woodland grove parking, accessed from Domaine de Leygue's circular driveway, with its own gate leading into the private terrace and cottage.

This is 'Peaceful France' exclusively for adults. Frances Field is one of our four unique and private, self catering, high quality cottages, set in glorious Dordogne gardens with two swimming pools. Frances Field is a spacious self-catering holiday gite, just for an adult couple, with a large, south aspect, private veranda. Frances Field is the largest of our four cottages at Domaine de Leygue. It has a large, beamed, living room furnished with Directoire furniture in gleaming cherry wood, and comfortable twin settees. There is a cool tiled floor throughout the living, dining and kitchen areas and French doors open on to the wide, private south-facing veranda with its superb views across to the Field Pool and over the rolling countryside towards the village of Bourniquel. The veranda is fully furnished to make the most of outdoor living. The carpeted bright bedroom features a luxury superking-size bed with 'zip & lock' facility which allows it to be separated into two single beds if preferred. The room also benefits from large fitted wardrobes, cherry wood furniture, and fine linen. There is ample storage space for your belongings and for your suitcases to be hidden from view during your stay. An en-suite bathroom has a bath and a shower, and 'his and hers' wash basins and heated towel rail. A spacious dining area, with a cherry wood circular dining table and chairs, leads to a separate kitchen fully equipped with fine china, and complete with dishwasher and washing machine. There is a TV in the living room, and WiFi is available throughout. A bicycle is also provided for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The cottage has full central heating for chilly months, and private woodland grove car parking, accessed from Domaine de Leygue's circular driveway. A path from the parking leads to Frances Field's garden door entrance. Please note that events are not allowed on the property.

All bookings and availability contact us directly via the booking platform. Barn Cottage is our largest cottage just finished in 2024 from our old farm's barn and equipped with modern furniture. It offers a total of 100m2 with on ground floor 50m2 of open space with fully equipped kitchen, salon with large internet TV and 2 large sofas (convertible into 2 large beds on demand for more than 4 p) and a dining corner. You access to 1st floor by a wooden stair and access to the 2 bedrooms with large king size bed in one room convertible into 2 single beds. The other bedroom has a queen size bed. Shower room is upstairs as well as independent toilets. Another independent toilet is on ground floor. Cottage is equipped with fibre & highest speed Wifi. A large private shaded terrace offers room for lunches and dinner, equipped with parasol and BBQ as well as sunbeds. Within 20 seconds walk you can access from the flowered gardens to the 2 south facing large pools of the domain with view over the rolling countryside towards the village of Bourniquel. Private parking for 1 or 2 cars is available near the cottage. Bicycles are also provided for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. Please note that events are not allowed on the property.

May Cottage is a self-catering holiday gite just for adult couples, with a large, south facing, private veranda. Created from one of the original stone farm buildings at Domaine de Leygue, May Cottage has a wealth of ceiling beams, providing a warmth and cosiness with cottage-style furnishings, and traditional French fabrics. The living room enjoys windows on three aspects, offering a comfortable seating and dining area with tiled floors and wide French doors leading onto the veranda. A wood crafted kitchen, with a full complement of Villeroy Boch china, leads through to the beamed bedroom, which has a king size bed and plenty of cupboard space for storage. Directly off the bedroom is the en-suite bathroom, with shower. One of the two swimming pools, the Pigeonnier Pool, is just a step away from May Cottage, and is seen from the kitchen and bedroom windows. The separate guests utility room, just a step away in the gardens, houses a washing machine, and refuse deposit, plus a good supply of books, DVDs and (if our chickens are laying well) our own organic eggs! The wide south-facing private veranda has stunning panoramic views and is perfect for both dining outside or just relaxing in the sun. Fine linen and towels are for your use, with all fresh linen supplied per week of stay. WiFi is available to keep you connected during your stay. If more energetic pursuits are required, cycle the lanes with bicycles provided, canoe down the River Dordogne, and visit our mini gym here at Domaine de Leygue.
